About Kathy Wright

As a Californian, I have grown to love the contours and colors of the landscapes that surround me. The shadows and light, the subtle changing qualities of the textures and colors as the plants emerge, flower, and mature are always appealing to me.

I have always loved to draw and paint. My creative urge has led me to explore many types of art, such as watercolor, sculpture, pottery, painting, lino-block printing, quilting, sewing clothes, printing fabric…. Painting best satisfies my need to express the beauty that surrounds us all.
